    COUNTRY OPERATIONS MANAGER

    I’ve worked in PNG for 41 years in the Earthmoving and Civil Construction industry as a qualified Plant Mechanic (Heavy Equipment).

    Career highlights include:

    Building oil palm and production mills in Milne Bay and New Ireland.

    Constructing the Misima and Porgera gold mines.

    Road and bridge projects for the Dept. of Works and AusAid in Milne Bay.

    Managing road, bridge, water supply, plant hire, and sawmill projects across PNG.

    I’ve also completed projects for Dai Nippon, JICA, PNG Sustainable Development Program, Airways, Monier, Central Sand, Northern District Sawmill, Kidu Kidu, and Rouna Quarries.

  • Bernard Sekonia

    ENGINEERING & CONTRACTS MANAGER

    I have over 30 years of experience in combined construction, construction supervision and management, investigation, and design of roads, drainage, water and sewerage, building works and mining infrastructure. I also have experience in geotech, sub-division and urban planning. I have spent the last 5 years as Contractor's Project Engineer and Manager on various roads projects through out Papua New Guinea.

  • Stephen Lutschini

    WORKSHOP & EQUIPMENT MANAGER

    I’m a Cert III Diesel Mechanic by trade. I started with a Cummins Diesel Apprenticeship from 2008 to 2011, then worked in the field maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, cranes, trucks, and generators until 2014. As a Head Mechanic and Foreman from 2014 to 2017, I led a team of 12 fitters. I continued as a Field Service Technician at RGM Maintenance until 2019, then managed a workshop with 25 mechanics. From 2021 to 2023, I was a Workshop/Road Supervisor at Dekenai Constructions Lihir, overseeing both equipment and roadworks. Currently, I’m the Workshop Manager and Equipment Supervisor at South Sea Civil and Constructions.

    I’m skilled in auditing, financial reporting, management accounting, and tax & insolvency. Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer, traveling, and learning about my culture.

    HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

    I’ve been in PNG since 2014 and with South Sea Civils & Construction since 2020. My role includes handling payroll, human resources, travel, and administrative tasks. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family.
